The Challenge

In the off-market sector, matching the right buyer to the right unlisted property is entirely relationship-driven and manually intensive. Agents had no systematic way to evaluate fit across a growing pool of subscribed buyers and privately listed properties — leading to missed opportunities, inconsistent introductions, and decisions that were hard to justify.

Our Solution

We built Ombra as a dedicated AI microservice, decoupled from the main platform and consumed via REST API. When a buyer subscribes and submits their preferences, Ombra evaluates them against agency-listed properties shared through Nexus — scoring each potential match across criteria including location, budget, property type, and buyer intent. Each recommendation is logged and justified, giving agents an AI co-pilot that supports their decisions rather than replacing them. OpenAI's API drives criteria generation and match reasoning, with the microservice architecture designed to evolve toward locally hosted models for full platform autonomy and zero external dependencies.
